As a Junior Digital Designer, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how customers experience our brands online—whether it’s an eCommerce journey, a social-first campaign, or a digital activation in store. At Signet, you’ll support both of our mid-market Jewellery Brands within the UK – H. Samuel and Ernest Jones. This is a role for a Designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and technology. You’ll design, produce, and manage digital content that balances commercial impact with creative excellence, ensuring consistency, innovation, and customer-first thinking across all platforms. As part of the in-house creative team, the Junior Digital Designer will play a key role in shaping how our customers experience Signet’s brands online. With evolving platforms and customer expectations, the role requires staying ahead of digital trends and creating content optimised for social. A day in the life Create campaign assets/banners across email, web/e-commerce, and social (paid organic – video and static). Translate and adapt print campaigns into digital formats, keeping consistency across sizes, formats, and placements. Build and reuse templates / modules so we can move faster and keep things consistent across comms. Produce videos by creating motion graphics and editing content (Adobe After Effects) for paid and organic social, and for in-store screens when needed. Adapt print campaign ideas into digital formats, resizing and tweaking layouts for different placements (Figma) Design full email layouts (not just banners) — the overall structure, sections, hierarchy, and making sure it works well across devices. Work closely with marketing and brands teams day-to-day to align on messaging, deadlines, and deliverables. Turn around amends and updates quickly, keeping everything on-brand and organised. Are you the perfect fit? Working across multiple channels and juggling different campaigns at once. Strong eye for clean and effective visual structure, layout & typography, hierarchy, and detail. Confident working within tight brand guidelines while keeping things fresh. Motion graphics: animating smooth transitions that match the campaign look & feel, so content feels more premium and intentional. Sound pacing for paid and organic social media: I can also choose sound/music that fits the vibe and elevates the online experience - which helps content feel more engaging, polished, and memorable. Creative, fast, reliable, and easy to work with (clear communication quick iterations). Our ideal candidate will be experienced in the following packages Adobe Creative Suite – daily including Indesign, After Effects, Photoshop, daily Adobe After Effects — daily (motion graphics / animations for campaign and organic content and screens) Figma — daily (layouts, modules/systems The role requires both creative flair and technical precision, balancing commercial priorities with design excellence.
