I am seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join my client's team, playing a pivotal role in supporting financial advisers by delivering high-quality financial planning services to clients nationwide. This position will suit someone who is technically strong, highly organised, and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience. You will take ownership of paraplanning responsibilities for a wide portfolio of clients across the UK, supporting advisers in the preparation and implementation of financial advice, ensuring all recommendations are compliant, clear, and tailored to client needs. Key Responsibilities Report Preparation: Prepare in-depth suitability reports, financial analyses, and tailored recommendations. Liaise with advisers to ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and client-focused financial planning documentation. Communicate with investment and insurance providers to obtain relevant client information. Compliance & Regulation: Stay up to date with FCA regulations and internal procedures, ensuring all advice and documentation meets compliance standards. Review and audit client files for quality and regulatory adherence. Client Communication & Support: Act as a key contact for clients, managing general enquiries, and updating them on progress with investments, switches, and transfers. Provide a seamless and professional service experience. Data Management: Maintain accurate, confidential, and well-organised client files and financial records. Ensure data integrity and privacy at all times. Mentoring & Oversight: Provide guidance to junior paraplanners and administrators where required. Contribute to team development and the improvement of internal processes. Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial products and services, including pensions, investments, protection, estate planning, and tax strategies. Continuous Learning: Engage in professional development, keeping abreast of industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices to maintain technical excellence. Key Competencies & Qualifications Required Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum) Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a paraplanning role, ideally at senior level Strong report-writing and research skills Excellent attention to detail and time management Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to manage a diverse workload and meet deadlines under pressure A genuine commitment to a long-term paraplanning career What you can expect Starting salary of up to £55,000 Hybrid home/office working Study/exam support up to financial advice Responsibility of managing a national Financial Planning firm's clients across the whole of the UK.
