Due to significant business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Commercial team as an Estimating Administrator. Based in our Dunfermline Head Office, this role is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8:00am 4.30pm.
We require an elite performing self-starter who understands the importance of technical and financial accuracy, strong customer service and is able to learn quickly on the job. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the pricing and design of our products to meet the customer needs and support sales growth. Adaptability to the changing business needs is a must for this role.
As an Estimating Administrator, you should be a confident communicator with excellent attention to detail, and eager to progress within a fast-paced, dynamic office environment. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, are essential.
Core responsibilities include:
Amending quotations
Being responsible for maintaining and updating technical and pricing changes on specification software.
Implementing any new product offerings on the specification software.
Collaboration on IT and process improvements projects.
Proactive contribution to team meetings and development & growth of internal and external opportunities.
Profile:
Customer service experience
Detail orientated and derives satisfaction from getting things spot on
Excellent interpersonal, communication and I.T skills
A technical mind and ability to learn and adapt quickly
Ability to manage own work load and multi-task in fast-paced environment
A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving
The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
