Hunter James Recruitment are very proud to be working with our client, an internationally recognised manufacturer, with their search for an Electrical bias Generator Engineer to be working with on site in West London
The Role
* The role will involve providing major and minor diesel servicing for the fleet of generators.
* Ensuring that they are maintained to meet all safety standards and are in line with the company’s expectation of the best possible standards
* The role will involve undertaking both preventative and corrective maintenance of all units of Diesel Engine Generator Sets
* To ensure that all records of repairs and maintenance are keep up to date
* Through performing the role, the successful candidate will need to ensure that Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and Safe Systems of Work procedures are always adhered to
* Electrical installation and commissioning of Control Panels, Changeovers, Distribution Boxes, etc
* Servicing of LV switchgear
* Carrying out fault analyses and repair of diesel generator systems on site
* PPM of diesel generator systems
* Ensuring that all fault finding, and repair work is documented in the appropriate manner to set company standards
* If required, the role will involve working on new build installations
* Ensure that all work is carried in adherence with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
The Candidate
* The successful candidate will have experience within a similar Electrical Engineer role
* Ideally have experience working with Generators and LV Switchgears
* The successful candidate will ideally have relevant Electrical Engineering Qualifications
