About the Role:
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional culinary standards and evolving the menu to reflect the seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in managing the entire kitchen operation
* Lead services, ensuring smooth and efficient execution
* Drive consistently high standards in food preparation and presentation
* Train and support junior team members
* Oversee daily stock control and ordering
* Identify and source high-quality, local ingredients
* Contribute to the design and innovation of new dishes
* Support all aspects of kitchen management including GP%, health and safety, and hygiene compliance
About You:
* Previous experience in a Sous Chef or Senior CDP role within a fine dining or high-end restaurant
* Strong understanding of seasonal produce and modern cooking techniques
* Creative, driven, and passionate about delivering a top-tier dining experience
* Confident in leading a team and running busy services
* Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations and stock management
