Accredited under the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS), we have the in-house capability to design, install, test, and commission electrical utility connections for adoption by local DNOs.

About the Role
The candidate will have a good understanding of power engineering, providing safety from the system, good knowledge of all types of HV switchgear, testing and commissioning, a background as a senior authorised person is essential. In addition, a good understanding of project management including costing, planning, delivery, profit and loss control will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage High Voltage projects end-to-end, including P&L, budgeting, and commercial oversight.
* Provide safety from the system and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HV switchgear, cables, and transformers.
* Lead testing and commissioning of HV installations and protection systems.
* Ensure compliance with HV/LV Safety Rules and all company policies.
* Drive efficiency, cost control, and profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Act as a role model, leading and motivating teams to deliver high standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Essential: HV Senior Authorisation status (e.g., DNO or equivalent) and HV Private Networks experience.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in an electrical contracting environment.
* Strong knowledge of HV/LV electrical engineering, switchgear, and protection systems.
* Ability to work under pressure with a controlled, safety-first approach.
* HNC in Electrical Engineering (Power Distribution) preferred.
* City & Guilds in HV Operational Safety; IOSH/NEBOSH desirable.
