Operations Administrator / Samples
Middlesbrough
Part time – 21 hours a week / flexible working hours possible
Duties
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Ops Admin / Samples to join our Middlesbrough Team on a part time basis (21 hours per week) with specific responsibility for supporting the Operations team.
Reporting to the Administration Manager, the successful candidate will provide general support to all areas within the Operations Team. This is a fully site-based role.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
* To build strong, proactive relationships with your team and co-workers
* Manage control reports to determine required work
* To collect & order samples and manage stock
* To package and dispatch to customer (UK & Export)
* To produce and process dispatch paperwork, raise purchase orders and scan various documentation
* Liaise with 3rd Party logistics via email and phone
* Prioritise your workload effectively
* Continuously review all activities adopting a “can do” and proactive approach
* Be compliant with all legislative and statutory requirements
We Are Looking For
* The successful candidate should have good numeracy and statistics skills and must have knowledge of Excel
* Experience of SAP would be a significant advantage
* Experience of handling hazardous chemicals preferred
* Experience of IATA / ADR preferred
* Flexibility is required to meet the varying tasks that the role requires
* You will strive for excellence in your accuracy of information whilst maintaining a calm approach
* You should have the ability to meet all strict deadlines
* You must be customer focused, providing excellent service at all times and it is essential that you’re a good team player
