Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist. This role involves a variety of tasks related to food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations and a keen interest in culinary arts.
Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
* Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Provide excellent service when plating dishes for serving or during catering events.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
* Culinary qualifications or training would be an advantage but are not mandatory.
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure are key attributes for success in this role.

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
