Purpose
To manage inventory of materials ( in his/her area of responsibility ) to balance customer orders ; this includes answering customers’ orders ( not confirmed by ATP ), establishing manufacturing program and detailed scheduling, replenishing Finished Goods and Raw Materials within agreed timescale, lead-times, inventory & NWSM level targets, Plant and Vendor constraints
Contribution (Business/Technical/Support)
Inventory management : maintaining the appropriate inventory level (UK & EU warehouse) will allow to fulfil customers orders in a timely fashion ; too high level will increase working capital
Manufacturing plan : a correct manufacturing plan will take into account mid and long term plant constraints along with the forecasted demand;
Detailed scheduling : weekly scheduling and daily follow up will integrate plant constraints and vendor response and ensure supply meets planning needs for both Finished product and raw material inventory, maintaining high level of necessary contact and collaboration with manufacturing, QC, logistics and vendors enabling customer satisfaction.
