Senior DevOps Engineer Remote first with occasional Belfast meetups Up to £85,000 salary benefits We're partnered with a rapidly scaling payments technology company with a strong Northern Ireland engineering presence. They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help modernise their platform, strengthen reliability and accelerate delivery across a growing cloud native environment. You'll work closely with engineering, architecture, security and SRE teams to build out CI/CD pipelines, improve observability, automate infrastructure and support the evolution of a complex microservices ecosystem. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, modern tooling and working within a fast moving, cloud focused engineering culture. Key responsibilities Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple application teams. Enhance monitoring, alerting and observability across cloud environments. Automate infrastructure using modern IaC tooling. Work with engineers to improve release processes and platform reliability. Support containerisation, orchestration and environment management. Contribute to cloud governance, security and cost optimisation. Required experience Strong background in DevOps or platform engineering. Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider. Hands on knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation or similar IaC tools. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or container orchestration. Strong understanding of CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins etc). Good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
