Are you passionate about supporting young people in education? We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Chepstow, working full-time with pupils who have Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
The Role:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ALN.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
* Support pupils with emotional regulation, social interaction, and classroom engagement.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
* A genuine interest in supporting students with additional needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Essential Requirements
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration (or willingness to apply)
Ability to provide 2 professional references covering the past 24 months
Safeguarding training (this will be provided as part of your onboarding process)
