Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Caring Feathers LTD in the UK. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our children's home, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional care and support to vulnerable children. The Deputy Manager will play a key role in fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the children's home.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans for each child.
* Supervise staff and provide guidance to ensure high standards of care.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
* Manage medication administration and health-related tasks.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.
* Conduct staff training sessions to enhance team performance.
* Monitor the well-being of residents and address any concerns promptly.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within a care setting.
* Strong knowledge of child care regulations and best practices.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
* Experience with developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
* Must hold an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Childcare/CYP.
* NVQ Level 5 in leadership and management or willingness to work towards.
Must be a driver.
