Job Description:
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that aims to strengthen its approach to Health and Safety management. The company has made significant progress over the past two years through successful projects to increase manufacturing capacity and headcount, with Health and Safety remaining a key focus.
While the role is multi-site focused, it requires a hands-on approach to all aspects of Health and Safety, not just oversight. The manufacturing environment's unique nature necessitates previous experience with radiation and/or radioactivity, including creating consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to ensure compliance.
The business plans to expand its facilities, and the HSE Manager will be responsible for developing new documentation and processes for implementation. The position is based remotely, with expectations to travel to each site approximately once per month. Flexibility to travel within the UK is essential, and a car or car allowance will be provided.
Initially, in the first 6 months, there will be a requirement to spend 3 days on-site at one of the South-East facilities in Surrey to address immediate challenges.
For further information, please contact Mark Bux-Ryan.
Key Experience:
