Bank Clerical Officer – Victoria Hospital, Bute

About the role

An opportunity has arisen for bank clerical officers to join the admin team in Victoria Hospital, Bute to cover for staff vacancies and absences at set times throughout the year.

We are looking for enthusiastic, confident, experienced and self‑motivated individuals.


Key responsibilities and requirements

* You will be required to work as part of a team, therefore excellent communication, organisational and keyboard skills are required.
* You will have a calm and pleasant manner, be well organised and able to work on your own initiative.
* You will have a good educational background and although proven work experience in a similar role is desirable, full training will be provided.
* The ability to work well under pressure and a flexible approach to the needs of the department are essential.
* You should have typing skills equivalent to ECDL/SVQ2.
* Knowledge of medical terminology and previous NHS experience are desirable but not necessary.

Induction, training, support and supervision will be provided.
