To provide a high standard of service in the processing of prescription requests and to act as a focal point of communication between clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure patients repeat prescriptions are produced within practice protocols and deadlines.
To work across Haresfield surgeries as required to carry out duties with a positive attitude and can-do approach towards problem solving.
The duties in this role will include co-ordinating and preparing repeat prescriptions for our patients, data entry onto patient records, Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) and liaising with patients and pharmacies.
You will also provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
You will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate and friendly nature who can operate in a busy environment with a range of people and professions, as you will be working with our clinical and administration teams.
The job responsibilities detailed within the Job Description form the basis of all non-clinical roles, whether they are patient facing or non-patient facing. All staff should be prepared to undertake a variety of tasks, as required by the business, which may be subject to change from time to time. Each department will have their own priorities on a day to day basis.

6 Partners, 8 Salaried GPs and a University term time Triage GP, an experienced and strong Nursing Team, Clinical Pharmacist, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners
Experienced Practice Management, supported Line Managers, Administrative and Reception Staff.
Our branch Surgery in Kempsey compromises of an excellent Team of Dispensers and Reception Staff.
