Job Description Apprentices will be given the responsibility of having their own Key children within their base room who they will complete observations on and carry out development reviews with parents. They will organise and set up a variety of activities for their children as well as take part in the activities. They will play a huge part in the children's development throughout their time in nursery. Day-Day Responsibilities Key Children: Take responsibility for a group of key children, building strong, supportive relationships with them and their families to support their development and well-being. Children’s Personal Care: Support children's personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene routines, while promoting independence and dignity. Child Observations: Carry out regular observations of children to monitor their development, identify individual needs, and contribute to planning appropriate next steps. Plan Activities: Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging activities that support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
