Cancer Care Pharmacist – Band 7 Cancer Services NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
2.0 WTE Permanent • Full Time 37 hours per week (part-time hours may be considered) • on-call and public holiday rotas
The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (BWoSCC) is the second largest cancer centre in the UK and has a dedicated Clinical Trials and Research Facility. Our team is responsible for the National Bone Marrow Transplant and ATMP/CAR-T service. These posts are part of the Core Band 7 Clinical Cancer Care pharmacy service. The post holders will work across all solid tumour and haematological cancer specialties across inpatient, day case and outpatient services and will rotate through the BWoSCC dispensing and aseptic service. There is also the opportunity to experience bone marrow transplant and ATMP/CAR-T services. We focus on optimising the use of skills such as Non‑Medical Prescribing and Advanced Practice and continually strive to develop our services.
