Overview
Join our team as an Endoscopy Clinical Educator! We are looking for a dynamic Clinical Educator to embed JETS Workforce and ENDO courses across our services, supporting competency development, enhancing patient care and driving innovation in endoscopy education.
Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery and integration of JETS Workforce and ENDO training programmes across our endoscopy services.
* Ensure staff are trained to national standards and confident in delivering safe, effective care.
* Assess learning needs, coordinate and deliver training, and mentor staff across multiple sites.
* Maintain and manage spreadsheets to track training compliance, progress and outcomes.
* Work flexibly across all shifts in a 5‑day service.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Registered Nurse
* Evidence of post‑registration development.
* Possession of a mentorship qualification.
Desirable:
* Educated to degree level (or evidence of working towards this qualification).
Skills and Abilities
* Ability to teach in a variety of settings.
* Ability to plan educational training programmes.
* Good negotiating skills.
* Ability to manage change.
* Good time‑management, planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively both as a team member and individually.
* Ability to deliver set objectives.
* Willingness to work flexibly within the duty rota system.
Experience
* Extensive clinical experience within an endoscopy department.
* Currently working within an endoscopy environment.

Additional Information

UK Registration: Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
DBS Cost: The cost of the DBS (criminal records check) for Band 6 and above roles will only be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction.
