This Business Administrator role offers an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a well-respected organisation based in Truro.
We are partnering with a highly regarded organisation seeking two Business Administrators to join their Business Operations function. You will provide high-quality, confidential and comprehensive administrative support across a range of teams, managers and Directors, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations.
You will be at the heart of the business, acting as a key point of contact for internal teams, stakeholders and external partners, helping ensure senior leaders can focus on delivering strategic priorities.
What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Providing comprehensive administrative support across multiple teams including Development, Projects and Commercial
✔ Organising incoming post, deliveries and maintaining filing systems (electronic and manual)
✔ Maintaining spreadsheets, trackers and key operational data with accuracy
✔ Raising purchase orders and supporting fee tracking processes
✔ Providing front-of-house support including answering calls and managing shared inboxes
✔ Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries in a professional and customer-focused manner
✔ Coordinating meetings, agendas, supporting documents and logistics
✔ Occasionally taking minutes for formal and sensitive meetings
✔ Monitoring and managing follow-up actions from meetings
✔ Organising regular internal meetings including all-staff sessions and learning events
✔ Managing diaries and supporting senior managers with scheduling
✔ Working collaboratively across teams and providing cross-cover when required
✔ Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
What We’re Looking For
💡 Proven experience in an administrative or office-based support role
💡 Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
💡 Experience supporting senior managers with diary and meeting coordination
💡 Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail
💡 Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
💡 Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
💡 Professional, discreet and customer-focused approach
