This exciting role is based in our toddler room, catering to children aged 1-2 years. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure smooth transitions and create a nurturing environment for all.

Our nursery operates from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we need someone flexible to work varied shifts within these hours.

Your Role as Room Leader:
As a Room Leader, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments for children.
* Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
* Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Ensure adherence to the statutory framework for the EYFS.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
* Essential: Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years.
* Desirable: Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position.
* Desirable: Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating.
* Essential: Understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
* Essential: Fluency in written and spoken English.
