Overview Of The Role
Our specialist stakeholder team works with clients to help deliver large infrastructure project proposals to time and budget. We engage with a wide range of project stakeholders to maximise benefits of infrastructure design and development. We work across transport, water and energy sectors.
We are looking for a principal stakeholder consultant with seven to 10 years of stakeholder engagement and consultation experience to join our team. You will lead the development and delivery of stakeholder engagement and consultation solutions to support large infrastructure project proposals. Responsibilities include ensuring activities are compliant with legislative requirements, aligned with recognised good practice, and understood by technical and community stakeholders. You may also lead business development to identify and progress project opportunities, and line management experience is required. Career progression opportunities exist within a successful and progressive team working on some of the UK’s highest profile infrastructure project proposals.
The existing client roster includes government departments, local authorities, road and rail organisations, aviation and port organisations, environmental organisations, water companies, and energy companies.
Candidate specification
Essential
* Experience in stakeholder communications, engagement and consultation in an infrastructure sector
* Degree qualified (2:1 or above)
* Stakeholder project management
* Stakeholder campaign development and management
* Understanding of relevant legislation and best practice guidance
* Report development and writing
* Preparing and delivering stakeholder presentations
* Engagement with stakeholder and/or community groups
* Understanding of equality, diversity and accessibility
