Customer Delivery Driver - Trowbridge Extra

Rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location
Minimum guaranteed hours: 16 per week. Flexible options down to 12 hours.
Availability windows: Sun 13:00–23:00; Thu 08:00–19:00; Sat 13:00–23:00. We schedule your contracted hours within these times and give you three weeks' notice. Flexibility is encouraged.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the van and trays are clean and kept tidy.
* Leave the back yard clean, tidy and free of rubbish, picking up litter when seen.
* Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
* Load the van as required and check the van for roadworthiness.
* Communicate with customers about any changes to their order, including short code items, substitutions, and offer refunds for dissatisfaction.
* Take care of products and deliveries as if they were your own.
* Inform customers that they will not be charged extra for substitutions.
* Deliver within the customer’s time slot.
* Call the customer before arriving if early.
* Call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
Qualifications
* Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and support excellent customer service.
* Welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues, taking time to understand and say “Thank you.”
* Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change within the store.
* Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations, balancing home and work.
* Share ideas with managers and colleagues on how to improve the store for customers.
* Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic) with no more than 3 penalty points for at least 12 months.
