Functional Consultant – Dynamics F&O
Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant with expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance) to help our leading Housing Association client unlock the full potential of their ERP solutions.
As a Functional Consultant, you will play a critical role in shaping and supporting our D365 F&O roadmap, ensuring the effective alignment of technical solutions with business strategies.

Responsibilities
* Working to achieve a common set of business goals utilising the very best of D365 F&O and its future roadmap.
* Assisting in the setup of new ways of working, and a new operating model from scratch so that functional consulting becomes a sector-leading approach.
* Translating the companies strategy and other business needs into packaged software solutions.
* Contributing to, maintaining and communicating the D365 F&O roadmap, continuously looking to adopt the very best of features and functionality including AI.
* Implementing the roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders and product owners, as part of both continuous and project-based methods, owning functional solutions.
* Ensuring there is a close and vibrant relationship between the team and all participants and stakeholders in the software development lifecycle.
* Evangelising D365 F&O solutions, both externally and with the leadership team.
* Supporting the solution and resolving issues as part of a cross-functional support and improvement team.
* Mentoring less experienced members of the team, including associates at the start of their journey.
* Acting as an in-house expert on the function and art of the possible with D365 F&O.
* Contributing to a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Maintaining professional standards including standard, mandatory certification pathways and other personal development.
Experience and Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience and mastery of D365 F&O is essential.
* Seasoned experience of functional consulting as a practice is essential.
* Ideally has worked at scale within Dynamics (we have 3500 colleagues, 80,000 properties, 200,000 customers).
* Must be able to influence leaders.
* Multiple full-lifecycle D365 F&O Core Finance implementation experience.
* Ideally has a Finance Accounting qualification
* Ideally has worked in a continuous change environment.
* Housing experience desirable but not essential with the right functional coverage of expertise as above.
