Part-Time Primary Teacher - Specialist SEN Alternative Provision

Location: Chesterfield
Hours: Part-time (Thursday's & Friday's) - Specific days negotiable
Start Date: Feb 2026, or sooner if available

Your Role:

You will:

* Plan and deliver engaging, primary-level lessons to small groups or on a 1:1 basis, focusing on core subjects and holistic development.

* Build secure, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced significant trauma or adversity.

* Champion each child's progress, celebrating small steps as major victories.

* Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff.

We're Looking For:

* A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in primary education.

* A genuine passion for, and understanding of, SEN/SEMH and trauma-informed practice.

* Boundless patience, empathy, and emotional resilience.

* A positive, steady presence and a firm belief in inclusion.

Essential Requirements:

1. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
