CEG is certified to the highest industry standards, including MCS, RECC, GSHPA, and Constructionline Gold. We are now expanding our commercial team to meet growing demand for heat pump installations in decarbonisation and energy transition projects.
The Role
We are seeking a Commercial Heat Pump Sales Consultant with a strong technical background and proven track record in B2B sales within the renewable heating or M&E sector. You will be responsible for identifying and securing commercial heat pump opportunities with clients across education, healthcare, Tier 1 contractors, and the private sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and convert sales opportunities for air source and ground source heat pump systems across commercial buildings and multi-site portfolios.
* Undertake technical consultations with clients, collaborating with our design and delivery teams to propose compliant and cost-effective solutions.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders including estate managers, energy consultants, facilities management teams, and procurement leads.
* Lead commercial bids and proposals, providing accurate pricing, ROI analysis, and compliance with tender specifications (e.g., PAS 2035, G99, F-Gas).
* Support wider business development initiatives such as frameworks, industry events, and strategic account growth.
Candidate Profile
* 3+ years’ experience in commercial renewable heating sales, ideally including heat pump systems.
* Strong technical knowledge of ASHP/GSHP systems, sizing, and integration with legacy plant (gas/oil).
* Familiarity with public sector procurement routes, including tenders, frameworks, and decarbonisation funding (e.g., PSDS, SALIX).
* Self-motivated with excellent communication, proposal writing, and CRM skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
