Job Title: Supply Planner
Location: Burton
Job Length: Permanent – Full Time
8am – 4:30pm shifts, flexibility is available

Role Responsibilities
* Convert the consensus demand plan into a realistic and achievable rolling 12-week production plan, smoothing peaks in requirement and optimising plant utilisation.
* Monitor availability versus actual demand and proactively alert and react to potential out-of-stocks. Monitor the impact of promotions, competitor activity and other events on sales.
* Provide first line support for queries regarding availability.
* Coordinate brewing requirements based on the production plan and liaise with the brewing, processing and tanker management teams to maximise efficiency in the movement of beer.
* Monitor forecast inputs and react to variances in a timely fashion, adjusting supply plans as appropriate.
* Monitor and report on stock levels at key sites, align stockholding to the demand plan and alert slow moving items or opportunities to move goods to clearance ahead of short date problems.
* Act as the central point of liaison between production cells, material supply, brewing and logistics for all own produced products.
* Actively generate cost savings through a combination of leaner inventory, economic ordering and reduced waste.
* Attend daily production meetings and weekly planning meetings.
* Proactively monitor and maintain system master data such as BOM’s, MRP data and APO planning parameters.
Experience and Key Attributes
* Previous experience in a similar role food, FMCG or pharmaceutical environment
* Significant technical SAP experience
* Ability to stay focussed under pressure, manage time and prioritise tasks effectively
* Relevant IT skills – Word, advanced Excel, Power Point
* Strong analytical and numeracy skills with a high attention to detail
* Ability to think strategically and successfully negotiate with partners and teams
* Passion for delivering results, taking personal responsibility and accomplishing challenging objectives
* Strong team ethic and experience working within a team atmosphere
