Job Description
USC, a leading fashion retailer, is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Casual Sales Assistant to join our team in Stirling, United Kingdom. As a Casual Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.
* Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers with product selection and enquiries
* Operate the till and handle cash transactions accurately
* Maintain a clean and tidy shop floor, ensuring products are well-presented and properly stocked
* Assist with visual merchandising and store displays
* Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends and product knowledge
* Support the team in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators
* Participate in stock takes and inventory management as required
* Adapt to a flexible working schedule, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Basic maths skills for cash handling and transactions
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
* Keen interest in fashion and current trends
* Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential
* Experience in visual merchandising would be advantageous
* Ability to work well in a team and independently
* Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
