Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Buckinghamshire
Salary: £45,000 - £57,000 per annum
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within sectors such as motorsport, green energy, product development, and future powertrains.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop complex mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, or Creo).
* Create 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and documentation to support manufacturing and testing.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers to ensure design intent and functionality.
* Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and performance validation.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation across all design activities.
Requirements
* UK Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive Engineering or a similar discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years\' relevant industry experience.
* Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, and/or Creo.
* Experience working within one or more of the following industries is highly desirable: Motorsport, Green Energy, Product Development, or Future Powertrains.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
