This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of tender submissions across three key divisions:Construction, Social Housing, and Fit-Out.The successful candidate will play a key role in securing new business by leading high-quality bid submissions from initial enquiry through to final tender stage.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate tender submissions from initial enquiry through to final submission stageReview and complete PQQs, SQs, ITTs, and framework opportunities, assessing suitability and riskCoordinate input from estimating, operations, commercial, design, and HSEQ teamsPrepare, edit, and deliver high-quality written tender responses tailored to client requirementsManage bid programmes, deadlines, and document control throughout the submission processEnsure all tender submissions are compliant, accurate, and professionally presentedMaintain and improve bid library content, case studies, staff CVs, and supporting documentationIdentify and implement new systems and processes to improve bid efficiencyLiaise with subcontractors and supply chain partners for pricing and technical submissionsSupport post-tender clarifications, presentations, and interview preparationMonitor tender portals and identify new business opportunitiesReview tender feedback and implement improvements for future submissionsCandidate RequirementsPrevious experience within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or related sectors preferredStrong written communication and presentation skillsExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesCommercial awareness with knowledge of public and private sector procurement processesStrong attention to detail and document accuracyProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointConfident communicator with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and deliver high-quality submissions to tight timescalesGood understanding of construction tendering processes and procurement routesExperience & QualificationsMinimum5 years experience in a Bid Manager or similar roleProven experience managing the full bid/tender processDegree or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline desirable but not essentialPersonal AttributesProactive, motivated, and enthusiastic approachStrong team player with the ability to collaborate across departmentsCommercially minded with a genuine interest in the construction sectorDriven to learn, develop, and progress within the role*If you are an experienced Bid Manager looking for your next permanent opportunity with a leading construction company, we would like to hear from you.
