ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for skilled Excavator Operators to join our groundwork teams on a busy project in Bristol. You will operate 360 tracked excavators across a variety of groundwork and drainage tasks, maintaining the highest standards of safety and plant care. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Digging strip foundations, trenches and bulk excavations to drawings and levels Topsoil levelling, type 1 / crush placement and road formation works Lifting and working with trench boxes, manhole boxes and trench sheets Acknowledging the need for dig permits before breaking ground Experienced working around live services and in service avoidance techniques Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks Carrying out essential greasing and basic maintenance, keeping machines clean and tidy REQUIREMENTS: CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Excavator /- 10t Tracked* CPCS Lifting Ops / NPORS* Excavator as Crane Safety Critical Medical (site specific) Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades Right to work in the UK DESIRABLE: GPS machine control experience CPCS / NPORS* Forward Tipping Dumper CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller CPCS / NPORS* Telehandler CPCS / NPORS* Quick Hitch Attachment 5 years of experience * Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram.
