EQUANS is recruiting for a Painter and Decorator to be based in Oldham. This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Overview
The role involves carrying out painting and decorating duties in accordance with regulations, company policies, and procedures. The successful candidate will assist the team in producing quality work safely, adhering to all SHEQ requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform painting and decorating tasks such as wall and ceiling stripping, preparation, finishing, priming, undercoating, glossing, paper hanging, and external/internal woodwork finishes.
2. Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and material/workmanship schedules.
3. Provide high-quality customer care in a professional manner.
4. Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
5. Achieve first-time fixes where possible.
6. Use appropriate safety equipment and wear suitable clothing/uniform.
7. Leave work areas clean and tidy.
8. Responsible for the company van and keys, adhering to policies.
9. Coordinate materials and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
10. Complete relevant documentation accurately and promptly.
11. Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
