Sales Demonstrator & Installer
Location: Winchester
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Demonstrator & Installer to join a well-established agricultural machinery business based in Winchester. This is a hands-on, varied role supporting both the Winchester and wider regional sales teams.
The business operates across multiple branches in the South of England and supplies a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment from leading manufacturers. They are known for delivering a high level of service and support to their customers across the full lifecycle of machinery ownership. The Role This position is ideal for someone with practical agricultural experience and a strong understanding of modern farm machinery and technology.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and installing machinery for demonstrations, ensuring all equipment is maintained to a high standard
* Conducting and recording demonstrations, including maintaining accurate customer and activity records
* Supporting machinery handovers, including customer training and follow-up support
* Installing and configuring GPS and telematics systems, along with providing operator training
* Assisting with the organisation and delivery of operator training events and presentations
* Supporting the setup and coordination of company events, shows, and exhibitions
About You
* Experienced operator of modern agricultural machinery
* Good understanding of precision farming technology, including GPS and telematics systems
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Comfortable using IT systems and internal platforms
* Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Customer-focused with a proactive approach
* Full UK driving licence required
* Additional certifications such as forklift, telehandler, PA1 and PA2 are advantageous
Package & Benefits
* Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
