Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8. 3 0am - 5.00pm (Permanent)
Salary: £ 35 ,000 to £ 40, 000 dependant on skills, experience, and qualifications.

Overview
NSP is looking for a Technical Estimator to produce accurate, compliant cost estimates and proposals for smoke ventilation and AOV systems.
The role involves interpreting fire strategies and project requirements to develop compliant, commercially competitive solutions that support tender submissions and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Preparedetailedcost estimates for smoke ventilation and AOV systems, including bothnatural, mechanical, and pressurisation solutions
Interpret tender documents, fire strategies, specifications, and drawings
Develop cost plans, take-offs, and pricing schedules aligned with project specification and performance criteria
Liaise withmanufacturers andsuppliers for quotations, technical data, and lead times
Ensure product compliance with EN12101 standards
Identifyvalue engineering opportunities
Support tender submissions and respond to client queries
Maintain clear, auditable estimating records and follow NSP processes
Experience and Qualifications
Degree/HND/HNC in Building Services, Mechanical or Fire Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
Experience in estimating, pre-construction, or technical sales supportwithin the construction or building services sector
Knowledge of smoke ventilation and AOV systems
Working knowledge of relevant standardsincludingApproved Document B(ADB), BS 9991, BS 9999, BS 7346-7, and Smoke Control Association (SCA)Guidance
Proficiencyin Excel, estimating tools, and CAD
Skills and Attributes
