As an Engineering Lead, you’ll take responsibility for the end-to-end engineering function across multiple technologies and suppliers. Acting as part of the customer’s Design Authority, you’ll define, govern, and oversee engineering standards, tooling, and strategy — ensuring delivery excellence, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
Lead on engineering process, governance, and technology strategy
~ Define standards, processes, and lifecycle guidance across software, infrastructure, and service management
~ Oversee engineering governance and ensure delivery of high-quality artefacts across multiple suppliers
~ Develop and communicate a strategic engineering vision supporting long-term business goals
~ Lead the Engineering Community of Practice, fostering collaboration and technical excellence
~ Support project teams to adopt engineering processes and tooling effectively
~ Represent engineering at Design Authority meetings, ensuring strategic alignment and value delivery
Proven experience leading complex engineering functions within a large-scale technology or digital transformation environment
~ Deep understanding of engineering governance, process design, and automation tooling
~ Experience managing diverse technical teams or communities of practice
~ A passion for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
