Business Development Manager, Capital Equipment. £45,000 Basic, £80,000 OTE + Car Allowance. OTE £150K in Year Three and Beyond. Field Sales role operating the HQ in Leicester. We're seeking a top-tier Business Development Manager with proven capital equipment sales experience and the ambition to lead a business. Your CV should demonstrate a strong track record of exceeding sales targets, driving new business, and growing market share within the capital equipment sector.
This role is with a leading European manufacturer of advanced robotic automation systems. We need a sales professional with a hunter mindset and a strategic approach to spearhead UK growth. Currently a £1.6M business in the UK, our client is experiencing double-digit growth and has massive ambitions. Your mission will be to significantly expand market presence, build and lead a sales team, and ultimately take the reins as the UK Managing Director.
In Return, You Will Receive:
* A basic salary of £45,000, with an OTE in Year One of £80,000+. The OTE is uncapped, with potential to reach £150,000+ in your second year and beyond.

What We're Looking For:
We need a proven capital equipment sales expert with a demonstrable track record of selling complex, high-value systems.
* A ‘Grade A’ Business Developer who is highly new business-driven and motivated by significant earning potential and career progression.
* There are already hundreds of leads to follow and a strong marketing machine developing more weekly, but we need a BDM to qualify and close these.
* Proven field sales experience and someone who truly wants to learn a new industry sector.
* A solution sales professional with a challenger sales approach, adept at selling on unique features and benefits rather than just price.
* Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, eager to build and 'run a business within a business’.
* Of graduate calibre, with a demonstrable track record of gaining market share and expanding sales through hard work, strategic planning, and tenacity.
