An opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join the District Nursing Service in Angus. The post holder will be based in Springfield Medical Centre, Arbroath but will integrate with teams across the SE Locality and Angus depending on service need. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of service, which will include rotation of day/evening shifts and base to ensure provision of service over a 24-hour period over 7 days. Community experience would be an advantage for this post. A requirement of the post is the ability and willingness to travel across the geographical area of Angus.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment. Qualifications and Requirements
* Community experience would be an advantage.
* Ability and willingness to travel across the geographical area of Angus.
* Must achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
* Comply with the NHS Scotland Code of Conduct throughout employment.
