We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Operative to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling products efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. Responsibilities
* Assemble components and products according to technical specifications and work instructions
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during assembly processes
* Conduct quality checks on assembled items to ensure compliance with standards
* Maintain a clean and organised work station to promote safety and efficiency
* Assist with inventory management by accurately recording parts used and completed units
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
* Previous experience in assembly, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is advantageous
* Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools and power tools is desirable
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions precisely
* Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently within a team setting
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills for documentation purposes
* Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks as required
