The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and lead the people, processes, and procedures across logistics operations, supply chain, warehousing, fulfilment, and light assembly. This includes managing costs, improving efficiency, and delivering a joined-up service. Working with the Head of Operations, you will develop continuous systems improvements, on site facilities management, maintenance and keeping the site in good order, whilst assisting with warehouse development projects. MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Management of the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities and reporting are undertaken as directed by Head of Operations. To undertake the daily plan work schedule and review days/weeks requirements to ensure resources are allocated effectively and efficiently to meet Company targets. Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of allocated employees, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and development opportunities in conjunction with Line Manager and HR. Ensuring safety and security protocols and conducting regular facility inspections to ensure that both employees and site comply with safety regulations and best practice as highlighted within the Companys Health & Safety policy document. Continuously seek ways to enhance operation efficiency, implementing process improvements and utilizing warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments. Report and investigate stock discrepancies within agreed timelines. Test and accurately record product specifications. Check and report on incoming stock, report any issues on quantities, quality (packaging) and damages. Working with Line Manager to maximise space and storage management of the warehouse. Assist and report on RMA process when requested. Assist on Goods In/Goods Out management when requested, ensuring all processes are handled correctly and timely. Manage and report on costs for any products reworks including customer specials as requested by the Company. Manage process for sales orders include quality checks for all customer shipments to agreed quantities and delivery specifications. Creating accurate documentation where necessary Ensuring a high quality of work is always maintained for our products. Assist the Management team with regard to stock checks as required. Attend Company meetings as and when required. Test and accurately record product specifications. Liaising with other departments Any other tasks that may be required from time to time. KEY SKILLS: At least 4 years experience within a similar industry sector with the ability to be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of warehouse procedures, safety protocols and inventory management control. Strong leadership abilities are necessary to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. The need to be able to address operational challenges swiftly and efficiently. Effective communication is vital for co-ordination with other departments and ensuring that all team members are informed and engaged. Be able to demonstrate appropriate leadership skills, respecting confidentiality of situations and information. Is respectful, treats colleagues fairly and appropriately.
