An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Teachers of Additional Support Needs - Intensive Support to work at various locations throughout Shetland.

Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates should detail in their application whether they currently hold registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS). If not, they should detail whether they have sought confirmation that they will be able to be registered with the GTCS.
In addition to relevant qualifications and experience, we seek candidates with vision, energy, initiative, good communication skills and self-discipline.

* The grade of this post is TCHR
* Salary shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £2,997 per annum (pro rata)
* 7 x Permanent Full Time posts for 35.0 Hours per Week
* Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made
* You must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) prior to starting in post
* We would welcome applications from flexible route probationers
* A relocation package does not apply to this post
