About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those individuals.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning and implementing activities that delight Residents
* Assisting the Home Manager in organizing fundraising events
* Encouraging Residents’ socialization and developing new activity ideas based on their hobbies
* Engaging the care home team in activities with kindness and consideration
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programs. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, planning, organizational, and IT skills are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and report concerns are required.
