Job Description:
* Complete inspections and safety checks in accordance with industry practice and regulations.
* Perform day-to-day service, repair, and maintenance of forklift trucks, handling equipment, and plant.
* Conduct fault finding and repairs to meet first-fix targets.
* Source parts from internal or external suppliers.
* Communicate efficiently to minimize downtime and achieve first-fix targets.
* Adhere to company procedures and current Health and Safety / COSHH regulations.
* Seek and act upon opportunities for personal and team development.
* Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management.
Candidates should have knowledge of at least one of the following areas, with willingness to undertake additional training to excel within Crown Lift Trucks Ltd:
* Mechanical engineering
* Electrical engineering
You should be able to work independently and in a team, possess good communication skills, work to high standards, and meet timescales.
Person Specification
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Proficient in fault finding and repair.
* Achieve at least a grade C in GCSE English and maths.
* Experience with Health & Safety requirements in a workshop environment.
* Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
* Excellent organizational skills, resourcefulness, and solution orientation.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads under tight deadlines.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day with 30 minutes lunch break.
