About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail‑focused Commercial Account Handler to join our established Existing Business Team. In this role, you will take responsibility for managing and servicing your own portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring they receive a high‑quality, efficient and professional service throughout the insurance lifecycle.

You will oversee renewals, mid‑term adjustments, documentation, liaising with insurers, and day‑to‑day client queries independently, making this an ideal position for someone who enjoys ownership, client interaction and delivering excellent service within a supportive team environment.

What You'll Be Doing
Providing day‑to‑day handling and administration of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
Preparing renewal documentation and remarketing policies
Managing mid‑term adjustments, endorsements and policy changes
Liaising with insurers and underwriters to obtain terms, negotiate cover and resolve queries
Delivering excellent customer service through prompt, accurate and professional client communication
Maintaining accurate digital and physical records in line with FCA and company standards
Ensuring all activity is completed in accordance with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues

What We're Looking For
Essential
Experience within commercial insurance or an insurance brokerage
Strong administrative ability with excellent organisation skills
Good understanding of insurance documents, processes and terminology
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Desirable
Experience using Acturis
Cert CII or willingness to work towards it
