We are currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Paignton to recruit a Site HR Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and successful business with strong HR foundations already in place. The role offers the chance to play a key part in supporting site leadership, developing management capability, and promoting a positive and consistent people culture across the operation.
Working closely with managers across the site, you will provide practical, hands‑on HR support within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
As Site HR Manager, you will:
* Provide day‑to‑day HR guidance and support to managers across the site
* Manage a wide range of employee relations cases from start to finish
* Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in people management
* Promote a consistent and pragmatic approach to HR policies and procedures
* Build strong working relationships across all levels of the business
* Act as a visible, approachable, and trusted HR presence on site
* Support ongoing people initiatives and contribute to a positive working culture
* Ensure HR best practice and employment law compliance are maintained
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Have previous experience within an HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor, or HR Manager position
* Ideally have experience within manufacturing, food production, or another fast‑paced operational environment
* Be confident managing employee relations issues and applying employment law in practice
* Have a practical and solutions‑focused approach to HR
* Be comfortable influencing and supporting managers at all levels
* Be organised, approachable, and proactive in your style
* CIPD qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential
