Overview
You will be part of a specialist mental health pharmacy service supporting inpatient wards, urgent care and community teams across Sussex. Hospital experience is welcome but not essential - we are looking for motivated individuals who are organised, accurate and ready to develop.
Qualification & Pay
These posts are Band 3 for applicants who hold the Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
About the setting
We are a specialist mental health and learning disability Trust. The Pharmacy Hub is a structured, professional working environment with clear processes and team support. You will not be working alone and will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing development support.
Responsibilities
* Support the dispensing of inpatient, outpatient and discharge prescriptions
* Assemble and supply ward stock medicines
* Receive, store and rotate medicines safely
* Support controlled drug processes in line with policy
* Use electronic dispensing and tracking systems
* Monitor stock levels and expiry dates
* Communicate with clinical teams regarding medicines supply
* You will work closely with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists in a structured, well-supported team.

* Able to prioritise workload
* A strong team player
* Experience working with medicines is desirable.
