Are you an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor?

As the Station Team Leader / Supervisor, you will get to do both:

* You will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service each and every time, serving as a role model for others.
* You must be comfortable and effective in leading your team of up to 15 members, providing support and development to enable them to perform their roles effectively.

Through you and your team, our vision is to provide our customers with a welcoming, seamless, well-informed, consistent, and relaxed travel experience. This approach encourages repeat business and positive word-of-mouth. Key to your role is being visible and anticipating customer needs to meet their expectations. You and your team will often be the first point of contact for our customers.

Our goal is to ensure a positive travel experience that fosters customer loyalty and satisfaction.

You will have previous experience leading teams within a customer service-based industry. There may be occasions where you need to cover the Station Manager's position.

This role covers a 24-hour operation. Due to shift times, you must live locally and have access to independent transportation to arrive at the station for your shifts, as train services may not always be available.

All roles may involve standing for long periods and working weekends and bank holidays.

Platform-based roles are safety-critical due to direct involvement with the operational railway.


Experience / Skills / Requirements

* A demonstrable ability to engage, lead, and motivate your team.
* A positive approach with a passion for supporting and developing your team.
* Experience managing customers effectively in challenging environments.
* High numerical ability.
* Effective communication skills, demonstrated through your application or assessments.
* Ability to make customer-focused decisions and carry out instructions effectively.
