We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in English to join our team within the Eastern Education Group. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to delivering high-quality English qualifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and teaching English from Entry Level through to GCSE, focusing on supporting learners to develop skills and achieve success.

As part of a collaborative English delivery team, you will develop schemes of work and lesson plans, share high-quality teaching and assessment materials, and contribute to internal verification processes for Functional Skills English. You will also work closely with vocational staff to integrate English development within vocational programmes, ensuring learners receive a contextualised and comprehensive education.

We seek an individual who can work supportively and engagingly with young people, motivate learners across different settings, and demonstrate a commitment to improving student outcomes. Candidates should hold a Certificate in Education, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification, with sound knowledge of teaching and curriculum relevant to outstanding lesson delivery.
