Role Overview
We are looking for a Loan Content Editor (UK) to manage and expand our English-language content. This role combines content creation, editing, and SEO optimisation, with a strong emphasis on clarity, compliance, and user value.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality financial content that supports organic growth while ensuring accuracy and alignment with UK lending standards.
This structure closely mirrors similar roles where editors are responsible for SEO content creation, optimisation, and maintaining quality standards across financial topics.
Key Responsibilities
* Write, edit, and publish content related to:
o Personal loans
o Online lending in the UK
o Loan comparisons and guides
o Financial education and responsible borrowing
* Optimise content for SEO:
o Keyword research and implementation
o Internal linking strategies
o On-page SEO improvements
* Audit and improve existing content to:
o Increase organic traffic
o Enhance user engagement
o Improve conversion performance
* Ensure all content is:
o Accurate and up to date with UK regulations
o Clear, compliant, and user-friendly
o Aligned with FCA guidelines and best practices
* Collaborate with marketing and SEO teams to:
o Plan content strategy
o Identify growth opportunities
o Support backlink and outreach campaigns
* Maintain consistent tone, style, and brand voice across all content
Requirements
* Native or fluent English (UK)
* Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
* Experience with SEO-driven content creation
* Basic understanding of loans, credit, or personal finance
* Ability to explain complex financial topics clearly
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Nice to Have
* Experience working with comparison or fintech websites
* Knowledge of the UK lending market and regulations
* Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console)
* Experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress
