Full-Time | Permanent | 40 Hours per Week Circa £29723 per annum About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Assembly & Test Engineer to join a growing engineering and manufacturing organisation. This role will involve assembling mechanical systems, carrying out product testing, and ensuring products meet required quality and performance standards. You will play a key role in supporting production operations by building and validating mechanical assemblies in line with engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities Assemble sub-assemblies and complete mechanical systems using engineering drawings, CAD models, and work instructions Carry out mechanical assembly and testing activities in line with production schedules Perform functional, performance, and environmental tests on products Set up and operate test rigs, fixtures, and instrumentation Identify and report product or material issues and support problem resolution Maintain accurate records in accordance with quality management systems Ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Welfare procedures Requirements Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience) Previous experience in mechanical assembly within a production or engineering environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Well organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team A proactive approach to problem solving What’s on Offer Permanent, stable role within a growing company Supportive and collaborative team environment Training provided on specialist equipment and processes Opportunity to contribute to high-quality engineering and manufacturing operations Benefits Additional annual leave Life insurance Health & wellbeing programme Company events On-site parking Location This is an on-site role.
