Inside the Pick & Shovel is a one room operation, there is a great kitchen on site, with the opportunity to create and drive your own food offer. Outside there is a small area to the rear of the pub.
The pick and shovel is popular with students and locals, offering a buzzing social atmosphere with multiple screens for live sport, plus pool and darts. Regular offers and a friendly vibe make it one of the area’s best‑loved pubs. The pub is currently averaging £3,500 per week in average wet led sales. We are looking for someone who is a keen marketeer who can cater for students and locals alike, and can create an attractive food offer and additional reasons to visit.
