The Opportunity
Due to exciting new client wins and team expansion, we’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our small but fast‑paced studio in Darley Abbey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high‑profile FMCG brands and retail clients, creating compelling design work that spans packaging, retail point‑of‑sale, advertising campaigns, and digital assets.
You’ll be working on diverse projects that help our clients stand out in competitive markets, from concept through to final execution.
What You’ll Be Working On
* Packaging Design: Creating standout packaging for FMCG brands launching and scaling in the UK market
* Point of Sale Materials: Designing impactful retail POS that drives engagement and sales
* Brochures & Catalogues: Producing engaging product brochures and catalogues for retail and wholesale audiences
* Advertising Campaigns: Developing compelling advertising materials for both B2B trade and DTC consumer audiences across print and digital channels
* Digital Assets: Creating web banners, social media graphics, and email templates for online campaigns
* Brand Collateral: Supporting wider brand initiatives with marketing assets and renders
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
* 7+ years of graphic design experience, ideally within FMCG, retail, branding, packaging, or marketing agencies
* Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
* Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for collaboration and project management
* Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design, POS materials, advertising campaigns, and both B2B and DTC work
* Methodical approach to design work with excellent attention to detail
* Experience designing for print and digital across multiple formats
* Excellent understanding of brand guidelines and ability to maintain consistency across touchpoints
* Strong typography, layout, and visual communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
* Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
* Comfortable working in a small studio environment where your contribution truly matters
Desirable Skills
* Experience with Figma for collaborative design work
* Understanding of print production processes and specifications
* Experience working with FMCG or retail brands
* Knowledge of digital marketing best practices
* Experience creating assets for e‑commerce platforms
* Experience with catalogue and brochure design for wholesale/retail sectors

The Details
Salary: 32,000 – 40,000 per year (depending on experience)
Location: Darley Abbey, Derbyshire
